Privacy notice

How we look after the information you give us. Last updated September 2026.

Who we are

TyrePilots provides mobile tyre fitting and repair in London. In this notice, “we” and “us” mean TyrePilots. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website, by phone, by email or by messaging app. You can contact us about anything in this notice at our email address.

What we collect

  • Your name and phone number, and your email address if you email us.
  • The location of your vehicle.
  • Vehicle details such as the registration, tyre size and the work needed.
  • Records of the work carried out, including photographs of the tyres and wheels.
  • Payment records. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us in your messages.

How we use it

We use your information to give you a price, arrange and carry out the work, take payment, keep records of the job, deal with questions or complaints, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Our legal basis is that we need the information to take the steps you’ve asked for before a contract and to perform the contract with you. For job records and photographs, we also rely on our legitimate interest in checking the quality of work and resolving any disputes. Where the law requires us to keep records, we rely on that legal obligation.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share it with

  • The fitter who carries out your job, who receives only what they need to do it: usually your name, phone number, the vehicle’s location and the vehicle and tyre details.
  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as our email, website hosting, payment and accounting providers.
  • Our professional advisers and insurers, where needed.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your information.

Messaging apps

If you contact us through WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy. Our booking form does not send your details anywhere by itself: it opens WhatsApp or your email app with your details filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or tracking tools. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no information is passed to third-party font services when you visit. If this changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and job records for as long as we need them to deal with any queries, claims or warranty issues, and to meet tax and accounting rules, which is normally up to six years after the job. Enquiries that don’t become bookings are deleted within twelve months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To make a request, email us. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
